OpenAI Unveils GPTs: Build Your Own ChatGPT and Monetize with the GPT Store

OpenAI unleashed full potential of ChatGPT by new GPTs, to create your own conversational AI system into anyone's hands

At OpenAI's first developer day in San Francisco, the company made a groundbreaking announcement, opening new possibilities in the world of conversational AI. OpenAI is now offering GPTs, a tool that allows anyone to create their custom versions of ChatGPT for specific purposes. The best part? You can do this without any coding experience.

This innovation marks a shift in the AI marketplace. While the industry has primarily revolved around dedicated general-purpose systems, OpenAI's approach empowers individuals and businesses to tailor AI models to their unique requirements. It's a move reminiscent of Apple's ecosystem, emphasizing the value of enabling others' ingenuity.

With GPTs, you can craft AI models that range from simple to complex, depending on your needs. For example, you could develop a GPT trained on your recipe collection to instantly provide ingredient lists for your favorite dishes. Or perhaps you're delving into a vast fantasy series and want a quick reference to characters and plots. Developers or businesses can also create GPTs focused on proprietary code, streamlining code analysis and generation.

The process is user-friendly, allowing you to customize behavior through natural language interactions. OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman, demonstrated this on stage, instructing ChatGPT to create a bot that offers startup founders advice. By uploading a lecture, specifying brevity and constructive feedback, the custom GPT was ready for action.
