Marking its 10-year anniversary, Trezor has launched the Trezor Safe 3, a cutting-edge hardware crypto wallet designed with a paramount focus on safety and user-friendliness. This device is tailored especially for those newly venturing into the world of digital assets.
Hardware crypto wallets are widely regarded as one of the most secure methods for safeguarding your digital wealth. They remain disconnected from the internet, drastically reducing the risk of online threats. Plus, they grant you full control over your tokens, ensuring they can't be frozen or withheld, as experienced by some on centralized exchanges.
However, with great power comes great responsibility. The passphrase, often referred to as the seed phrase, is the key to accessing your wallet, and you receive it only once during the initial setup. If you misplace it, you could lose access to your assets permanently.

Priced at $79, the Trezor Safe 3 offers a sleek design, available in four stylish colors: gold, rose gold, silver, and black. It features a 0.96” monochromatic OLED screen and a user-friendly two-button pad. This wallet boasts compatibility with major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as support for over 7,000 other tokens. Trezor's desktop application can be seamlessly integrated with it, simplifying cryptocurrency management.
What sets it apart is its tamper-resistant hardware component, ensuring an extra layer of protection in real-life scenarios. It's robust, functioning perfectly in conditions ranging from a freezing -4°F to a sweltering 140°F.
The Trezor Safe 3 is incredibly portable, weighing a mere half an ounce. It arrives in a package similar in size to an iPhone, containing the wallet itself, a USB-C charging cable, some stylish branded stickers, and a comprehensive pamphlet guiding you through the setup process. Notably, two paper cards are included, enabling you to note down your 12-word recovery phrase, also known as the seed phrase. This phrase is your lifeline to accessing your assets and must be stored offline for security.
As an added bonus, in celebration of both its 10-year milestone and the release of the Trezor Safe 3, Trezor has launched a limited edition Bitcoin-focused hardware wallet. This special edition exclusively runs on Bitcoin firmware and features a distinctive "Bitcoin orange" color. With just 2,013 devices available at an affordable price, this limited edition was an instant hit, selling out within a single day.
